Ruvelson deemed the "Grandfather" of the modern Venture Capital industry. he believed in helping "smart people with good ideas" by offering them opportunity to succeed while building economically viable communities in which to live and work.
The Fellowship experience helps to instill his values of community leadership, personal, and professional volunteerism and practice of high ethical business practices.
